The South Simcoe Arts Council is an umbrella organization composed of many individuals and groups in the area who are engaged in the arts (visual, dance, music, drama, literary, structural, architecture).

Members range from budding artists to professional artists, to business owners to supporters of the arts. The geographic area served is South Simcoe and includes the towns of Bradford West Gwillimbury, Innisfil, and largely New Tecumseth where the office is located at 41 Victoria Street East, Alliston community; the two townships – Essa and Adjala-Tosorontio; and Base Borden.

Jim Craigmyle

Jim Craigmyle

Jim began his photography career in Montreal before relocating to Ontario in 1996. He has been photographing landscapes, portraits and conceptual images for more than 35 years. Much of his commercial work is represented by Getty Images and his artistic prints are sold privately. His editorial photography is featured in numerous magazines through out the area. Jim resides just north of Bradford near the Scanlon Creek Conservation Area.

COMPOSE YOUR OWN SONG with Matthew Rait

SUNDAYS
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Join Matthew Rait ( ABD Ph.D in Music) on Sundays at 2:00pm - 4:00 pm to collaborate on song composition. This program is for a variety of different levels of musical ability. Those just starting out, no matter what age, will be able to acquire skills that will facilitate their objectives. Intermediate to Advanced Music Students will also benefit from one on one and small group learning experience. Come and learn how to express your own musical voice.
