ANNOUNCEMENT

The South Simcoe Arts Council Board of Directors takes this opportunity to thank Michelle Eissler for her outstanding contributions and unwavering dedication during her tenure as Executive Director. Michelle brought with her a wealth of skills as she stepped into the role during a time of transition in the South Simcoe Arts Council office dedicating her time and energy maintaining the post for four months.

Michelle’s expertise has been and will continue to be a valuable asset to our organization as she has chosen to assume the role of Event, Membership and Volunteer Co-ordinator working in concert with our new Executive Director.

The South Simcoe Arts Council is very pleased to announce the recent appointment of Len MacLeod as its new Executive Director. As of June 9, 2017, Len commenced managing all of the community activities in which the South Simcoe Arts Council is involved.

Len brings with her an outstanding professional background coupled with strategic management and community involvement and engagement initiatives; all of which began with an Honours Degree in Visual Arts and led to a Master’s Degree from Emmanuel College, University of Toronto,.

As a Board, we are extremely pleased to have such a proven combination of skill and ability to assist us to grow over the next few years. We firmly believe the skills of both Len and Michelle will greatly assist the South Simcoe Arts Council in not only fulfilling its current mandate but also in finding new and exciting enterprises, enriching our cultural activities.
