BATTLE OF THE BRUSHES is at POTATO FESTIVAL!

Battle of the Brushes has been rescheduled!

Due to unpredictable weather forecasted last Canada Day, the Battle of the Brushes and the Artisan Market was postponed. As the Town of Alliston had changed their event plans to an indoor venue, the Board of the South Simcoe Arts Council determined to reschedule its event to coincide with the Potato Festival in August.

On August 12th we have an opportunity to have a large crowd of spectators and a festive atmosphere at this year's Potato Festival! The South Simcoe Arts Council has the perfect location outside its doors at the adjacent courtyard to hold our Battle of the Brushes event.

Registration to commence at 9am with the opening of Potatofest and the first Battle begins at 10am. Previously registered participants and new registrations welcome!
Only $5 to participate; First prize is $500, 2nd prize $250!
