Community Mural Project

Community Mural Project

The South Simcoe Arts Council is working with local artist, Greg Hindle, to produce a community mural based on the theme Our Legacy of Agriculture. We are inviting high school youth to participate in creating the mural. It will be painted on three panels to be installed along a fence on the property of the Alliston Feed Service. The mural will tell the story of our agricultural legacy and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Alliston Feed Mill under its present ownership. It will create a focal point along a prominent area of Albert Street. Mural painting workshops to be held each Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00 – 5:00 at the Gibson Centre. Spaces are limited. Students may drop in for one or more sessions. Please call the SSAC at (705) 435-2378 or email info@southsimcoeartscouncil.com
