FIRST WORKSHOP

2 – Archival printing and durability of your work

It was very well received. Bert hopes that his sharing of information brought some new enthusiasm into your photography.

Bert has been asked to critique some of your work and he is glad to do it.
Please bring 2-3 images, 8x10 or 8.5 x 11 inch or larger in size of your best work and provide Bert some background information as to where and why you took the shot.

He will also do a introduction of Adobe Lightroom 5
and a session of basic digital camera information that you need to know as you grow.
It is hoped that Ian Darwin will share with us some of the information on his information/data sheet.

This class would be beneficial to those contemplating purchasing a camera for their upcoming vacations or those that have equipment and are planning a trip.
We will be discussing:
How to understand and use focal length. What is an F-stop?
Understanding wide-angle expansion and telephoto compression.
Understanding the use of shutter speeds and also how F-stop affects the relationship between foreground and background subjects.

Interested parties should bring their cameras along.

This is a hands-on class to help students understand the basic relationships between focal length and F-stops.
