VOLUNTEERS NEEDED !

We are an organization to be proud of and it certainly takes a lot of hands to build something great!
 
We have opportunities that seek your volunteer support. If the following opportunities are of interest to you, please let us know!
 
SHOP ASSISTANTS -
We seek many outgoing, enthusiastic, customer-centered, friendly people to:
*greet customers and answer questions
*handle sales transactions
*occasionally complete administrative duties requiring basic skills
*occasionally conduct light cleaning of the shop (sweeping & dusting)
 
EXHIBIT ASSISTANTS at 41 Victoria -
To assist our current volunteer to:
*change artwork every 6 weeks
*document the new inventory
*assist with arranging and hanging new artwork
*assist with typing labels and affixing them beside artwork
 
ORGANIZING WORKSHOPS -
*contact and recruit workshop leaders
*arrange dates and times
*oversee advertising for workshops
*assist with workshop set-up and clean-up
*open and close the shop for after-hours workshops
 
ORGANIZING EVENTS -
We host and participate in many events among the arts disciplines, as well as festivals such as the Beeton Honey & Garden Festival, the Alliston Potato Festival and the SSAC Music Festival.
 
This volunteer will:
*be prepared to make recommendations and once approved by the Board, implement the approved plans
*contact and recruit volunteers
*oversee advertising
*assist with set-up and take-down
