VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We are an organization to be proud of and we are so proud and thankful for all that our volunteers do throughout the year. It certainly takes a lot of hands to build something great!

Thinking about joining the SSAC Volunteer Team? We have a number of opportunities that need your volunteer support.

WORKSHOPS AMBASSADORS
We seek ambassadors to represent SSAC at off-site locations throughout South Simcoe. These volunteers will:
*help distribute posters and flyers periodically
*open and close location of workshops when required
*assist instructors with workshop set-up and clean-up
*greet participants and take official attendance
*welcome the group as a whole and read the 'SSAC program & grant support' script to the class prior to the instructor beginning

SHOP ASSISTANTS at FortyOne:Local Art Market
We seek many outgoing, enthusiastic, customer-centered, friendly people to:
*greet customers and answer questions
*handle sales transactions
*be trained on our computers, POS, and inventory system
*occasionally conduct light cleaning of the shop (sweeping & dusting)

EVENTS COMMITTEE ORGANIZERS
We host and participate in many events among the arts disciplines, as well as festivals such as the Beeton Honey & Garden Festival, the Alliston Potato Festival and the SSAC Music Festival.

This volunteer will:
*be prepared to make recommendations to the Executive Director and once approved, implement the approved plans
*contact and recruit volunteers
*assist with advertising
*assist with set-up and take-down
