2017 Potato Festival Battle of the Brushes and Artisan Market

The South Simcoe Arts Council wishes to thank all the volunteers, participating artists and artisans in this year's Potato Festival Battle of the Brushes and Main Street Artisan Market!

We extend our thanks and appreciation to all the volunteers who ensured these two events ran smoothly and successfully.

We congratulate our 1st Prize winner of $500, Isolde Ryan and 2nd Prize winner of $250, Amanda Schison! The Battle of the Brushes had a fantastic turnout of spectators and visitors encouraging and cheering on the Battle participants! A special thank you to our Master of Ceremony, Treese Moore, who ensured that this 7th annual Battle of the Brushes was great fun!

Thank you to each Artisan who participated in the Main Street Market event! It is great hearing of the contacts that were made and successes enjoyed!

Thank you to our musical guests, The Carrot Sticks and Colleen Morris, who got the crowd swaying, dancing and clapping to their fun and soulful music!

A special thanks goes to the Alliston Business Improvement Association (ABIA) who hosted the Main Street event and especially to all our sponsors and donors for their continued support helping make these successful SSAC events possible and ongoing!

We hope everyone will come out again next year to enjoy Battle of the Brushes and participate in the Potato Festival's Main Street Artisan Market!

We extend great thanks and appreciation to all!
