We are an organization to be proud of and we are so proud and thankful for all that our volunteers do throughout the year. It certainly takes a lot of hands to build something great!



Are you thinking about joining the SSAC Volunteer Team? We have a number of opportunities that need your volunteer support. 



SHOP ASSISTANTS

We seek many ,font color="red">friendly, customer-centred people to:


*Greet customers and answer questions

*handle sales transactions
*occasionally complete administrative duties requiring basic computer skills & organization

*occasionally conduct light cleaning of the shop (sweeping & dusting)



EXHIBIT ASSISTANTS at 41 Victoria Gift Shop

To assist our current coordinator by:

*documenting the new inventory 

*typing labels and artist statements and affixing them beside artwork



PROJECT COORDINATOR and ASSISTANTS
Throughout the year, we have many projects on the go!

We produce a quarterly magazine.
We host and participate in many seasonal events and festivals including the SSAC Music Festival, the Beeton Honey & Garden Festival, Arts On Main, the Alliston Potato Festival, Battle of the Brushes, Youth & Emerging Artists Exhibits.

We seek project coordinators to:

*create project plans and budgets
*lead and coordinate a team of enthusiastic volunteers
*aid the Board of Directors in speaking to the local Business Improvement Associations, etc.
*aid the Board of Directors with fundraising initiatives
*Bring the projects to life!

We seek project volunteers to:
*assist the coordinator with the various tasks of project planning and implementation 
*assist with project set-up and take-down
