DRAWING TO PAINTING with David Aspenleider

An innovative programme intended to develop artists' understanding of composition, elements of design, and the "Golden Mean".
Included in this 4 week programme are additional exercises in understanding 1 - 2 - 3 point perspective and how to accurately render shade and shadow.

Participants should have some or limited experience.

WEDNESDAYS: MAY 24, 31 & JUNE 7, 14
10:00am - 12:00pm

$120.00 for 4 classes
Drawing supplies & tutorial sheets included.

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES required:
Primary watercolours & or primary acrylics including Payne's Gray or black; Additional
colours students' choice.
#1 - #6 - #10 round tipped brushes (or similar)
1 - 5/8" (or similar) flat tipped brush
*Optional:
1 small bottle of black India ink
2 small glass eyedroppers
2 plastic straws
1 small container of rubber cement or
1 small piece of clear mactac or frisket
3 cakes of tempera primary colours + black.
