MUSIC FESTIVAL AWARDS, PROVINCIALS AND SPOTLIGHT
Attached is the 2015 South Simcoe Arts Council Music Festival Award file. Upon the recommendation of the Adjudicators, the participants highlighted in PINK have been selected to go to the Provincials.
Thank you to Suu Taylor, Chairperson, Music Festival who successfully pulled our 2015 Festival together. Together with our Music Teachers, the Accompanists, the participants, the volunteers and the Adjudicators, our team did an outstanding job . Together, each of you made this Festival happen and we were pleased with the positive feedback we received. Several teachers have provided valuable input that we will work upon in the near future for 2016! On behalf the Board of Directors, we thank you for your ongoing support and patience.
Please note that the Spotlight on the Art’s date has been changed and it will be held on Tuesday, June 23 at 7:00pm at the Gibson Cultural Centre.
Please come out and support the Arts in your communities. We are thrilled that young classical musicians are presented with every opportunity to grow musically.
