Work by Lindsay Nemeth

Lindsay Marie Nemeth is a commercial and fine art photographer based in Alliston, Ontario. She has worked for the University of Toronto documenting athletics as well as a freelance wedding photographer for several years. Lindsay has been published in print magazines such as Sideroads Magazine, Wedding Trends Magazine and WedLuxe Magazine. She has been commissioned by Dove, Live Nation, Free the Children and Country Music Television. While versed in commercial work, Lindsay has begun working within the fine art community showing in Grad Ex 100 at OCADU after completing her BFA and participated in the Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival showing at Artscape Youngplace and Project Gallery. Her work expands from portraiture to landscape, attempting to juxtapose the mundane with the magical. Lindsay’s most recent work, Already Light showcases the splendor of light, or lack thereof, in faces, spaces and places.

Her upcoming show "Already Light" is an assembly of fourteen photographs that explore the splendor of light, or lack thereof, in faces, spaces and places. Within each piece, Nemeth implores viewers to engage themselves with her work and find a narrative of their own within her art.

Nemeth's work will be showcased at The Well (81 Victoria Street, Alliston) for the month of June. Stop by and enjoy the coffee, the community, and the art!
