Blossoming before tree's leaf-out, the first flowers of spring are timed perfectly with the emergence of the first spring insects. In this online class, explore the forest as it springs to life with tiny gems of colour. Wildlife artist Len provides live, step-by-step sketching techniques to create nature journal pages of one flower and one butterfly.

Nature journaling helps us connect with nature in creative and personal ways. By recording our observations through
sketches and notes, we discover and learn more about our natural world.

The aim of this class is:
- to encourage nature exploration;
- to inspire observations through awareness and curiosity; and to spark confidence in creating nature sketches.

Supplies required for this class are: pencils, eraser and two sheets of paper or a sketchbook.
