Exhibits & Events - Community Happenings - Our Finest Works - A Farewell Concert

NOTE - the concert has been rescheduled to Saturday, AUGUST 13th at 7pm, at Bradford United Church.

Join us for a delightful afternoon of in person music by award-winning voice students of Heather Faris. Featuring Marie Conceicao, Rhys Gormley and May Sadan, with pianist Marney Curran.

"Our Finest Works" is a parting recital to celebrate their accomplishments over the years and share their combined love of music before branching off to begin post-secondary journeys!

With a diverse arrangement of group ensembles such as the infamous Lakmé Flower Duet by Léo Delibes, Audrey Synder's The Parting Glass, and the uplifting How Can I Keep from Singing by Robert Lowry and Penny Downs Tullock, this recital will include something for everyone! Some of the solos will be Liszt's Oh! quand je dors, Copland's Laurie's Song (The Tenderlands), Schubert's Standchen and Du Bist die Ruh, Viardot's Les Filles de Cadix, and Webber's Think of Me (Phantom of the Opera), Schonberg's Empty Chairs at Empty Tables (Les Miserables), and Flaherty's In My Dreams (Anastasia).

Light refreshments will be served after the concert.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by emailing ConcertArtTickets@gmail.com.

A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to help purchase bikes for Ukranian children who have been displaced.
