Former SSAC Music Festival participant and international award winning pianist, Tabitha Johnson, will be featured in this exciting music event.
Along with her recent win at National Association of Negro Musician's (NANM) piano and organ competition, Johnson won third place at the Canadian Music Competition. In 2018, she won the concerto competition and played with the orchestra at the Miami Music Festival. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, her competition with NAMN was done virtually with her performances pre-recorded. Johnson will compete at NAMN's national competition virtually in July.
The Frances Clark Center proudly presents an engaging online concert series: Piano Stories On Stage! Register in advance for these dynamic lecture-recitals. Participants will receive an email from Demio, the hosting platform, with a link to view the concert. Replays available to registrants for 48 hours following each event.
Leonard Hayes, Tabitha Johnson, and Artina McCain, winners of the National Association of Negro Musicians Competition, will be featured on January 21, 2022.
