Exhibits & Events - Community Happenings - That Choir

Saturday, March 23, 2019 7:30 pm Adult $35 Student $15

The first concert features one of Toronto's most exciting a cappella vocal ensembles. The group creates a high calibre performance with story-telling through choral music completely unaccompanied. That Choir has just celebrated its 10th anniversary, founded in 2008 by conductor Craig Pike. (Dodington shares that he's seen Pike's gift of the gab captivate their audiences – to be expected from a Newfoundland store owner in Toronto's west end!). You'll want to hear their exquisite sound with repertoire ranging from Amazing Grace to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and from classics to jazz while honouring a commitment to Canadian composers as well. (Local Sugartones and their fans may find this concert of special interest.)
