Exhibits & Events - Community Happenings - What's So Funny Anyway?

The Tecumseth and West Gwillimbury Historical Society is back in business and will be hosting an entertaining evening on Monday, October 17, 2022 with guest speaker Donna Wice asking the question "What's So Funny Anyway?"

Turn that frown upside down. Come for an evening of lighthearted banter while perusing historical photos.

A dynamic speaker, Donna describes herself as a "Lover of plants, people, places and the past; seeker of the positive, and a very skilful raspberry pie maker."

On a more serious side, in 2017, Donna was inducted into the Alliston's Museum on the Boyne Wall of Fame for her contributions to heritage in South Simcoe. Donna was President of the Innisfil Historical Society from 2005 to 2008. Currently, Donna is Community Liaison for the Innisfil Historical Society and Secretary of the Simcoe County Historical Association.

This is sure to be an entertaining evening of fun, and you might even learn something, like the secret to making a great raspberry pie.

The Tecumseth and West Gwillimbury Historical Society meetings are held in the hall in Newton Robinson, 4380 Line 10, Bradford West Gwillimbury at 7:30 pm. Meetings are free for members, and $5 for guests. All are welcome. Memberships are $35 for family and $20 for individuals.
