**Due to the current Covid-19 situation the submission & exhibition dates for the 2020 Youth Arts Contest have been postponed until further notice. We look forward to opening registration for this year's theme 'Joy' as soon as we are able to.**
This annual juried exhibit is a great opportunity for young artists to showcase their work publicly and have it professionally adjudicated. Visual art of all mediums are welcome.

Please include the following with your application:Brief bio and/or artist statement explaining your choice of submission. Please include your name and title of artwork.
Image of art work (maximum 3 jpegs, emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org)
$10 entry fee
Exhibitors may submit two works up to 36” x 36”. Works must not have been exhibited in a previous SSAC show.
Accepted works will be displayed at New Tecumseth Library (17 Victoria St E, Alliston).
All works will be juried. The decisions of the adjudicators will be final.
Works not for sale must be marked NFS.
The artist’s name and title of the piece must be on the back of each piece. Three dimensional art should have a label securely fastened so it is out of sight (if possible) when placed on display.
Advertising and promotion is a shared responsibility. The SSAC will promote on our website and social media. Please post and share with your friends!
All works displayed must be original. Reproductions (copies, whether mechanical or digital) will not be accepted.
All hanging art must be suitably wired and ready to hang. Wiring must be appropriate to the weight of the art. If you need help, please contact the SSAC for more information on correct preparation for hanging.
The submission of any entry gives permission to SSAC to make and use images of accepted work for publicity, documentary and archival purposes only, including the SSAC website and publications.
