Current Exhibits - Heidi Jordan

Jul 16, 2026 - Oct 16, 2026

Heidi Jordan was born in Brooklyn, NY, and has been in South Simcoe for nearly 30 years.
Having been drawn to faces from early on, inspired by God's most interesting and intimate creation, she began to concentrate on drawing and painting portraits in various media, including pencil, pencil crayon, pen and ink, charcoal, pastel, acrylic, and oil. Heidi also began to draw cartoons and caricatures.

While a student at the Ontario College of Art, Heidi did portraits and caricatures for Portraits in Pastel at Ontario Place and the Canadian National Exhibition.

After graduation, Heidi began producing courtroom drawings for CFTO-TV in Toronto. Her courtroom drawings appeared on the evening news broadcasts of CFTO News (local) and CTV News (national) as well as a spot drawing on the front page of the Toronto Sun. She also has done caricatures at childrens parties for TD Canada Trust and Scotiabank, as well as for The United Way (charity).

Heidi did the editorial cartoons for the Alliston Herald for several years and is a member of a number of artists' organizations.
