Gull Friends Port Dover

Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of Port Dover with "Gull Friends Port Dover." This painting is part of a cherished series inspired by visits to this quaint town on the north side of Lake Erie in 2017.
Depicting a chilly May day, the scene looks out from the Port Dover beach towards Turkey Point. The subtle hues of a turquoise-green lake, its frothy surf dotted with seagulls in search of their next meal evokes a sense of calm and introspection.
Created with oil paints on TerraskinĀ®, an innovative and eco-friendly paper made from rock and polymers, and mounted on a cradled wood panel, this piece combines sustainability with artistic expression. The unique texture and rich colors bring the quiet majesty of Lake Erie to life, offering a vivid escape to a peaceful, lesser-known corner of Ontario.
Perfect for those who appreciate both natural beauty and sustainable art practices, adds a touch of elegance and serenity to any space.
