Sodalite
A light, relatively hard yet fragile mineral, sodalite is named after its sodium content; in mineralogy it may be classed as a feldspathoid. Well known for its blue color, sodalite may also be grey, yellow, green, or pink and is often mottled with white veins or patches.
Topaz
Topaz makes an ideal gem. A good hardness and desirable colors, combined with a relative abundance and availability makes it one the most popular gemstones.

Artist Bio
My name is Debbie Benninger. I was born and raised in London, Ontario, Canada. I've always been a creative person, a passion that my grandmother instilled in me.
After moving to a new town with my amazing spouse I was looking for a new outlet and an opportunity to start an independent business.
Intrigued with jewellery making, yet bored with traditional styles, I found wired wrapped mediums and thought "This is it!". No matter what I do, I'm never wrong, there are really no rules. It was very freeing to me. I avoided the internet for awhile, as I wanted what I produced to be mine—in MY voice.
My work has been showcased in magazines and I have won multiple awards including the Fire Mountain Gems competition.
I am ever grateful to my spouse Ian, it is through his support and reassurance that I.D. Designs became a reality, the business is named after him and myself.
