This card is a reproduction of my original watercolour painting. The subject of this artwork, a red trillium, was inspired by a photo that I took at my workplace, the Scanlon Creek Conservation Area. I love painting the spring flowers that emerge for a few weeks at Scanlon in May. They make the forest look so magical!
This card is printed on coated silk paper with a glossy finish. It is 4.25"x5.5". The cards are blank, so are perfect for any occasion. Each card comes with a blank white envelope.

Artist Bio
My name is Rebecca Doyle. I am a scientist with a passion for watercolour. I am inspired by my local environment and often paint the plants and animals that I encounter around my workplace, the Scanlon Creek Conservation Area (Bradford, Ontario). I sell original watercolour paintings, giclee prints, and art/greeting cards. My creative process involves "glazing", or layering many thin layers of watercolour paint. I occasionally incorporate gouache into my paintings, depending on the subject.
