Original 5"x7" watercolour painting on 140 lbs 100% cotton watercolour paper (Aquarello). Frame included. Painted with Windsor and Newton Professional Watercolours (with some sneaky white gouache).
The painting was inspired by a photo I took while visiting the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory here in Ontario. The painting is framed in a white 8"x10" frame. This small painting is perfect for displaying on a tabletop or on the wall.

Artist Bio
My name is Rebecca Doyle. I am a scientist with a passion for watercolour. I am inspired by my local environment and often paint the plants and animals that I encounter around my workplace, the Scanlon Creek Conservation Area (Bradford, Ontario). I sell original watercolour paintings, giclee prints, and art/greeting cards. My creative process involves "glazing", or layering many thin layers of watercolour paint. I occasionally incorporate gouache into my paintings, depending on the subject.
