Rare burl spalted maple. Natural red pigment, not sure how got there but was in the log. Finished with beeswax and mineral oil.

Artist Bio
Soren has lived in area for 44 years. He is married to Carole and they have 8 children together and to date, 10 grandchildren. Soren received the gift of a double lung transplant 3 years ago. He is truly grateful to the donor and family for his gift of life. He has always enjoyed woodworking and in his retirement is still learning and experimenting.
