Brandy Cup

This porcelain brandy cup has been made by hand using the potter's wheel and kiln fired with a unique blue glaze colour developed by South Simcoe Arts Council member artist Debra Gibbs

An application of 22k gold is secured to the pot in a third kiln firing, an extra step to make a truly unique and beautiful piece of pottery.

Fine porcelain is an insulator, warm or cool the clay with tap water.

Due to the gold band these are NOT dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.

Artist Bio

As a Production Potter of Dinnerware, One-of-a-Kind gifts and Instructor of many years, I like to share all my secrets with students so that they too, can be successful.

My functional pottery is produced from extremely FINE High Fire Translucent Porcelain (2400*F).
FINE Porcelain can be made thinner & lighter while maintaining STRENGTH & DURABILITY.
My one-of-a-kind GLAZE RECIPES are my own to ensure a unique look to my pieces.
