Heather Dennis is an actor, choreographer, performing arts instructor, and theatre creator. She is a proud graduate of the joint Theatre & Drama Studies program at the University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan College, where she developed a strong foundation in performance technique and theatrical storytelling.

A passionate advocate for Shakespeare and classical theatre, Heather is a Collective Member of Theatre Georgian Bay, a professional theatre company based in Simcoe County. The company produces Bard on the Bay, an annual outdoor Shakespeare festival presented at Collingwood’s Shipyards Amphitheatre. Within the collective, Heather contributes as a producer, actor, director, and choreographer, collaborating on productions and theatrical events within the community.

Heather has shared both stage and screen with amateur, emerging, and professional performing artists. She has also choreographed numerous theatre productions, including Little Shop of Horrors, Mary Poppins, Matilda, and Shrek. Heather works as a dance and drama instructor at a performing arts studio; her teaching practice emphasizes technique, creativity, and building self-confidence through performance opportunities.

Heather has extensive experience coaching performers at all stages of their artistic development, including those new to performance, students preparing for post-secondary training, and working professionals. She has adjudicated multiple seasons of the National Theatre School Drama Festival and has served on dance competition adjudication panels. Heather is deeply grateful for the opportunity to adjudicate and is continually inspired by the bravery, creativity, and artistic voices of emerging performers.
