Wednesday, March 15th:
KIDS CREATIVE CLAY/COMBO with Lisa Harpell
Class will include a variety of creative materials with a focus on sculpture.
We will be working with clay, mould making , painting and drawing .The painting will involve liquid acrylics, the mould making involves creating an image in the clay and then making a copy of that with sculpting plaster that will be then painted and with the clay we will be creating a maquette, ( modelled sculpture ) that will then be rendered from three different points of view. Any extra time the students are encouraged to play with the extra materials provided.

Thursday, March 16th:
ANIME/CARTOONING with David Aspenleider
An exciting workshop that promises to be a fulfilling adventure in creativity. We explore various drawing techniques , exercises and apply them to the creation of various characters and situations. Anime, Mange, Superheroes and a variety of characters are developed. Students also receive a traditional introduction to perspective and design theory including colour in the development of their works.
10am - 12pm (6-10 years)

Saturday, March 18th:
FELTING: MAKING 3D VESSELS with Gail Franklin-Hawes of G'nR Farms
In this workshop you will learn how to design and make a unique 3D seamless hollow object using the wet felting technique and a simple plastic resist.
This technique allows you to create any hollow form such as a vessel, purse or small bag.
Alpaca fibre will be used since Gail is an alpaca farmer and accents may be alpaca or wool.
Workshop includes all materials, no experience required, but bring your own towel.
10am - 12pm (12 years and up)
