Accessibility Requirements & Specific Needs

Accessibility Requirements & Specific Needs

SSAC is an inclusive organization, with participants of all ages and backgrounds.
Please notify SSAC of any specific needs or concerns, particularly related to: learning, behavioural, medication, accessibility, and/or allergies that we would need to know during the course of a workshop.

We ask this so that all participants involved can be safe and protected. It is important to us to that your child feel comfortable in our programs.

The spaces that SSAC use for workshops are public buildings and are not "allergy free".

Do take any medications?
Do you carry an Epipen?
Do you have any accessibility requirements or specific needs we should know about?

Is there anything else you would like to share with us?

Thanks to our grant funding, we have the ability to provide an ASL interpreter for Mentor Sessions and Workshops!

A Curriculum Vitae, or CV, is really important in the world of art.

In one to two pages, it showcases who you are by listing your accomplishments, the workshops and classes you take, the work/job you do, and how you spend your time outside of work or school (hello, extracurriculars!).

It is your creative resume!

But don't worry too much about the format - it can look like a list, a resume, or can be a few summary paragraphs. We just want to see who you are and what makes you YOU.

Here are some examples of what you can highlight and list in your CV:
-Participation in any art exhibitions or competitions
-Awards
-Volunteer positions
-Classes and workshops
-Jobs
-Club membership/group participation
-Skills

Reach out if you need assistance or more clarification.

Please attach two (PNG) examples of your work that you are proud of.

This part isn't about judging your work or your artistic skills. We're using these photos to help us find the best mentor for you!
