Remember when the world stood still?
For me, it was
a song
—
one that the birds flew back to sing,
your voice as the notes that built its melody.

My heart was buried in the ground,
until your song, like rain, kissed my skin,
urging me to blossom.

The notes were woven together
,
through tender care.
My heart wrapped itself around the harmony.
It was
a quietness no one can hear
—
only life whispered: "be born again."

Spring breathes hope into what was lost,
Priceless, undefeated, it rises again.
Regret which once filled my heart,
Is replaced with another sensation.
New, yet unending, soft, yet firm.
Gentle, yet passionate, Spring.

The rainy weather wanes,
instead,
I am hugged by the sun'
s scorching rays.
You were like the sunlight in the morning,
laughing as you told me to wake.

We were like fireworks that shined brightly
underneath the tapestry of the night. You were the ocean and I, the sand,
existing together
, end to end.
Yet we were like candles,
burning too brightly to last.

Silent was the world,
Until you came to me.
Memories of another life,
Mixed in the ghost of we.
Evenings spent by the dimming fire,
Recovering my heart before it fades away.

The warm air changed.
The sky, once endless blue,
turned into
a bright amber hue.
The leaves changed to
a beautiful gold and red,
but their beauty faded, as the days sped.

Your sentences began to grow shorter, I pretended to ignore the chill in your voice.

Anguish filled my heart,
Unwilling to let you go. Tell me, why does warmth feel cold?
Unbearable feelings rose in my chest,
Masked by
a smile you used to call pretty.
Now,
I drift like the leaves that yearn for the sun.

Finally, the world became quiet again,
the trees empty and bare.
The melody that played in my heart,
disappeared without
a trace.

Frigid and cold, you left me buried,
below the ground,
I lay.

Warmth filled me once again,
In the calmness of the white silence.
Nothing lasts forever
, yet everything is nothing.
Time moves, but it teaches me to heal.
Earth hugs me deeply at last,
Reminding me that rest is part of nature'
