The South Simcoe Arts Council is proud to support and promote the arts in our communities as well as manage an incredible artisan gift shop at 41 Victoria Street in Alliston. As you navigate our website you will see there is so much to get involved in. Perhaps you are an artist or business looking for networking, retail, or exhibition opportunities. Or maybe you are a community member looking for events, performances, and workshops. Let the SSAC be your first stop for all things creative in South Simcoe!

The SSAC is a registered charity and all donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt. Help us continue to enrich our community through the arts. Donate Today!

**March 17, 2020 UPDATE** All SSAC classes have been suspended. Our office team will be available by email and phone. FortyOne:Local Art Market will be closed to the public until further notice**

Our AGM has been moved online. All members in good standing will be emailed an invitation with a link to the online meeting scheduled Saturday, March 21st, 2020 at 1pm.

A decision regarding our Music Festival will be made soon. Participants and teachers will be notified as soon as possible.

When I first became a member I had just opened up my theatre company. I thought it would be a great way to be represented in our arts community and I wanted to network with like minded creative people. I soon realized that my membership card was not a magic portal to sudden world of artistic enlightenment [cue sad trombone quickly followed by lightbulb moment].....I was able to make SSAC work best for me and my artistic needs.
