The South Simcoe Arts Council is proud to support and promote the arts in our communities as well as manage an incredible artisan gift shop, FortyOne:Local Art Market on Victoria Street in Alliston. As you navigate our website you will see there is so much to get involved in. Perhaps you are an artist or business looking for networking, retail, or exhibition opportunities. Or maybe you are a community member looking for events, performances, and workshops. Let the SSAC be your first stop for all things creative in South Simcoe!

The SSAC is a registered charity and all donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt. Help us continue to enrich our community through the arts. Donate Today!

**December 26 2020 UPDATE**
SSAC will be closed for the holiday from December 25 to January 4.

As of January 5 we will be open for online sales & curb-side pick up

For your safety and ours the following precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19 are observed in our shop & office:

* Face masks are required
* Number of customers and staff in the store limited to 10
* Hand sanitizing station at front door
* Directed flow of traffic to maintain social distancing
* Staff regularly disinfect high traffic areas

* If you are feeling unwell, or have come in contact with someone who has a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19, we respectfully ask that you do not come in.

You can shop online any time. Curbside pickup available. Ask about our porch drop off program!

When I first became a member I had just opened up my theatre company. I thought it would be a great way to be represented in our arts community and I wanted to network with like minded creative people. I soon realized that my membership card was not a magic portal to sudden world of artistic enlightenment [cue sad trombone quickly followed by lightbulb moment].....I was able to make SSAC work best for me and my artistic needs.
