AOM 2024 Rules & Conditions

All participants will be asked to agree with the following:

  • Exhibitors may submit two works up to 36" x 36". Works must not have been exhibited in a previous SSAC juried show (ex. Arts on Main).

  • Accepted works will be displayed in a participating storefront window assigned by SSAC. Artist is responsible for arranging set-up time with business contact provided by SSAC. Artwork must be installed in the the designated business locations between September 10 & 11. Please note that your works may be displayed at two different locations.

  • Artwork must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit. Removing your work early may disqualify you from awards or future juried exhibits.

  • All works will be juried. Awards are given at the discretion of the adjudicators. The decisions of the adjudicators will be final.

  • If you wish to sell your artwork, please indicate the price on the application form. Works not for sale must be marked NFS.

  • If the artwork entered sells during Arts on Main (from the date of application to end of the exhibit), SSAC will receive 30% commission from any sales for all SSAC Member entries and 40% for non-members entries. Sold artwork must remain in the exhibit until the end of Arts on Main.

  • The artist's name and title of the piece must be on the back of each piece. Three dimensional art should have a label securely fastened so it is out of sight (if possible) when placed on display.

  • Advertising and promotion is a shared responsibility. The SSAC will promote on our website and social media. Please post and share with your friends!

  • All works displayed must be original. Reproductions (copies, whether mechanical or digital) will not be accepted.

  • All hanging art must be suitably wired and ready to hang. Wiring must be appropriate to the weight of the art. If you need help, please contact the SSAC for more information on correct preparation for hanging.

  • The submission of any entry gives permission to SSAC to make and use images of accepted work for publicity, documentary and archival purposes, including the SSAC website and publications.

  • Help us tell people about the Arts on Main exhibit. The SSAC will promote on our website and social media. Please post and share with your friends!

    When submitting your registration you will be asked to: Agree that I have read, acknowledge and will abide by the rules and conditions of the SSAC Art on Main Exhibition. I give permission for photos to be released for media and SSAC purposes.
