Arts on Main is a themed & juried exhibition of 2D and 3D artwork that is displayed in the Main Street windows of New Tecumseth. Entries are adjudicated by professional artists, and cash prizes are given for winning entries.

This year's theme,Everyday Magic, invites artists to explore the quiet beauty and extraordinary moments that exist within our daily lives. From small acts of kindness to the glow of morning light or the rhythm of a daily ritual—this theme celebrates the magic that surrounds us when we take a moment to truly see it.

Nancy Newman - Arts on Main 2025 Adjudicator
Nancy is an artist, teacher and juror who has lived and worked in Aurora for 40 years. She is a Director and Past President of the Toronto Watercolour Society (TWS). Nancy is proud to be a Signature Member, Silver Level, of TWS. She is a Past President of the Society of York Region Artists (SOYRA). Nancy is an Exhibiting Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, and the FCA, Toronto Chapter, a member of the International Watercolour Society (IWS), Canada, and the East Central Ontario Art Association (ECOAA).
Nancy has exhibited her work in many solo shows and juried group shows including the Federation of Canadian Artists, TWS Aquavision, IWS, Art Aurora, Society of York Region Artists (SOYRA), and Blue Mountain Foundation of the Arts (BMFA). She has received several First Place, Awards of Merit, Honourable Mentions and People's Choice Awards.
Nancy, an experienced professional teacher. As an instructor at Nipissing College, she taught Visual Arts courses for teachers hoping to achieve their Visual Arts Specialst Qualification. For many years, Nancy taught weekly watercolour classes at the Aurora Cultural Centre. She conducts workshops for many art societies such as the Toronto Watercolour Society, Banbury Group of Artists, the Clarkson Society of Artists, the Barrie Art Club, the South Simcoe Palette Club, Marsh Street Painters and the Society of York Region Artists.
Nancy has taught at the Haliburton School of Art and Design for 20 years and has been an instructor for the Blue Mountain School of Landscape Painting and Loyalist College Summer Arts Experience. Nancy has enjoyed providing Zoom watercolour workshops for several different groups. Her work can be seen at
