Current Exhibits - Dorothy Shelton

Nov 2, 2024 - Feb 4, 2025

Dorothy is a mom, an artist, creator, designer, out of the box thinker, horse loving enthusiast, holistic minded person….living in the quaint town of Alliston Ontario.

She has always had a creative side starting with beading in 1995. Nearly two decades later she evolved into the encaustic medium and found her "niche"
Since 2014, Dorothy has honed her skill in encaustic (wax painting) and soon began teaching small groups in her local community. She recognized that not only had this medium transformed her life, but it was also changing the lives of others.

Her exquisite ability to transfer her peace and tranquility into art and designs has many people eagerly gathering to tap into this unique and magical medium for the serenity it brings.

Dorothy now brings her art work in a form which is truly functional in "Wearable designer apparel."
Choose one of her designs or paint your own and she will have it transformed into a garment of your choice created JUST for YOU.
Be unique…. Be YOU!!
