Current Exhibits - Laura Di Valentin

I am an Abstract Visual Artist. Creating art helps me navigate a transformation from within. It is a therapeutic experience, equal to that, of meditation. It liberates my mind to remain in the present moment, while creating a visual expression of inner feelings through the use of colour and scribe.

My use of tools is unconventional. I rarely use a brush. Instead, squeegees, knives, sponges, drip bottles, credit cards, wooden sticks, are just a few of the instruments I use to create my work. Pouring mediums, glazes and translucent paints add to the ambiance of each piece.

I am also a proud member of the South Simcoe Arts Council and the Gibson Group of Artists in Alliston, Ontario.
