This monoprint merges deep blacks and shifting blues with a foreground of white and silver lines that trace their way across the surface like a memory map. The marks suggest a place shaped by movement—perhaps the looping paths of driver training, or the glistening arcs of skate blades carving across an ice rink.
The image holds this ambiguity intentionally. The shimmering silver lines catch the light much like tracks left in snow or ice, carrying a rhythmic quality that hints at a quiet musicality beneath the surface. These gestures drift between representation and abstraction, inviting viewers to consider how repeated motions—whether driving, skating, or any practiced routine—etch themselves into space.
The work becomes a study of motion made visible: a landscape of paths, habits, and the traces we leave behind.
