Angela van Breemen is a graduate of the University of Guelph with a degree in management economics and was a co-owner of a dental supply company. After the company was sold, she turned her focus to writing, music, and volunteering her time at Procyon Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre, a group dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and safe release of orphaned and injured Ontario wildlife. In 2024 she published her first novel, Past Life's Revenge, a crime thriller with a twist of spiritualism. It's the first book in the David Harris and Emma Jackson Mystery series. Her second book, Revenge is Not Enough, will be released on November 4th, 2025. Her books are available in ebook and softcover. Audiobook versions are expected to be released soon. She belongs to the Wordsmiths Writers' Group based out of New Tecumseth, Ontario and loves being part of the vibrant and flourishing SSAC community.
Angela is a member of the Crime Writers of Canada, Sisters in Crime, South Simcoe Arts Council, SOCAN and the Writers Union of Canada.
Since early childhood, music and poetry have been an integral part of her life and in April of 2024 she launched her debut album, In The Breeze. Angela is a Soprano Soloist. A firm believer in giving back to the community, she is happy to sing for local charitable organizations. She lives in Loretto, Ontario, with her husband, Peter Thomas Pontsa, author of the Inspector William Fox Series.
