Catherine Robbin is an award winning watercolourist (Best in Show, Arts on Main 2019) who enjoys rural life and rural subjects, often seeking juxtapositions of the natural landscape and built structures. Retired from directing the classical vocal department at York University’s School of Art, Media, Performance and Design, Catherine is enjoying adapting the creative process from musical performance practice to that of visual arts, embracing creative enthusiasm in whatever form it takes.
