Ken Burns

President

Since retirement from the railroad in 2007, Ken has been active in several volunteer positions in the local community and beyond, including the past 11 years as a director on the board of the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation. There he has held the positions of Vice-Chairperson 2009-2010, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, 2010-2012 and Secretary 2012-2019.

Gail Moore

Director

"To be creative is to let little pieces of your heart go & place them into each project you make".

Gail is a visual artist and photographer working mainly in watercolour, pen and inks and photography. She loves light and colour and strives to continuously be learning new ways to be creative, inspired and to have fun!

Giulia Pincente

Director

Giulia is a retired Social Worker with over 30 years experience providing support to children, adolescents and their families in various educational institutions and social service agencies. Throughout her years of practice, she was a supporter of the Arts. Giulia realized that creative outlets help to channel feelings that are sometimes difficult to express verbally. Expression through the Arts whether Literary, Performance or Visual can reduce stress and anxiety, as well as boost self-awareness and self-esteem. The Arts promote mental health and wellbeing.

Max Grasso

Director

Max has a degree in chemistry from the University of Rome, Italy and a degree in photography from Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario.

Over the years he gained work experience in various fields such as gases, polymers, manufacturing and Investigations. He has organized and managed analytical laboratories. He has been part of accident investigations as well as safety and quality audits.

Max has volunteered for several years with the Alliston Scouts both as leader and as part of the group committee. He has also taken part to large scouting events as First Aid volunteer in Ontario.

Max is fluent in Italian, French and English.

Max enjoys reading printed books of science fiction, history and Asterix. He likes to travel and to take pictures to transform them digitally. He likes golf, pickleball and as much as he is a fan of the Toronto Maple Leaf and the Blue Jays.
