Monday, May 14: Depart Alliston by coach (bathroom facilities on board) and arrive in Ottawa by late afternoon at the Blue Byward Inn in the heart of the Byward market district. (A daily continental breakfast is included.) Enjoy free time and exploring before our first group dinner at Mandarin Restaurant.
Tuesday, May 15: Enjoy the Canadian Tulip Festival Full Day package and experience thousands of tulip blooms and artistic interpretations of the tulips by all levels of the arts community. Bring your sketch book and camera!
Wednesday, May 16: In the morning enjoy a private guided tour, general visit and sketching time at the National Art Gallery. Then, spend the afternoon enjoying Gatineau Park’s natural beauty through self-guided plein air artist sessions, all terrain biking or walking the trails to the Champlain Lookout and the Mackenzie King Estate.
This evening’s group dinner will be at Mama Grazzi’s Restaurant in the Byward Market.
Thursday May 17: Start the day with a private tour and drawing opportunity at the beautifully renovated Museum of Nature. Experience the Mammals, Birds, Water and Arctic exhibits. Enjoy a boxed lunch in a private eating area before departing for home.
Deposit of $526.50 due February 10, 2018 and is non-refundable but can be transferred to another person.
