OR simply attend our weekly rehearsals that begin Tuesday September 8th at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 354 Victoria St. E., Alliston.

In 1992, The New Tecumseth Singers were formed by two local musicians with the intent to offer members of the local community the opportunity to learn and present to the public high quality choral music. The choir, a non-profit organization, perform a broad range of musical styles at our concerts. Our musical repertoire consists of jazz, pop, world music, Broadway show tunes and classical.
At our concerts, we feature local musicians to join our concerts which allows these individuals an opportunity to perform in the cultural community of New Tecumseth/South Simcoe. Our Artistic Director/Conductor, Johannes Wervers feels it is vitally important to include youth whenever possible.

The New Tecumseth Singers welcomes all singers with various degrees of singing abilities and encourage our members to develop their skills through weekly practices, workshops, and being part of a group that love choral music.

Our goals and passions are to work hard, entertain our audiences and just plain have fun. We are excited to be performing this Fall Handel’s Messiah and hope to see you soon at one of our concerts.
