CLAY WORKSHOPS With Ann Randeraad

WORK WITH CLAY! Try your hand at throwing a pot on the potters wheel!
2 sessions THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20th & 27th

Kids and Youth workshop: 4:30PM-6PM
$95 for 2 classes

Adult workshop: 7PM-8:30PM
$140 for 2 classes

Includes materials, instruction & firings.
Laughter included!!

Students will be shown the four main steps for throwing on the wheel:
With reference given for speed at each of these stages

Demonstrations will take place first & then time will be available for students to apply what they have just learned in theory.
Throwing pots is very hands on process & requires practice. These couple of classes will walk you through the initial steps.
Drying, trimming, further drying, firing & glazing will completed by the instructor.(Glazing to be completed by instructor, due to limited time)
Number of pieces completed may vary, but 2 or even 3 small bowls could be expected. These pieces can be used in daily life: dishwasher/microwave & oven safe.
