This past week we sold 5 - Fifty Dollar and 1- One Hundred Dollar Gift Certificates that can be used throughout 2015 - 16!

How it works. Simply purchase Gift Certificates in any amount you choose.

Arts Council Gift Certificates can be used to purchase ANY of our upcoming 2016 programs, workshops, books, cards, pottery, visual art, merchandise…..SSAC memberships!

The South Simcoe Arts Council is inviting expressions of interest / submissions from its membership - those members who would like to showcase their work with the possibility of selling their works in 2016 @ 41 Victoria Street East, Alliston.

41 Victoria Street East, Alliston is a unique shop managed by the South Simcoe Arts Council, a registered charity and non-profit organization. It is open to the public on a regular basis.

We encourage everyone to shop local and take home something wonderful from pottery to glass, jewellery to metal work, fabric arts, paintings, prints, and art cards, you'll discover plenty of unique treasures to suit all tastes and budgets. The gift shop provides an opportunity for local artists and artisans to sell and showcase their work.

Going forward, in order to sell work in the gift shop, we ask that members complete an application form. This format will be available within the next few days. Only those forms that are completed in full will be considered for selection. SSAC will notify successful applicants of acceptance and scheduling via email. There will be continuous opportunities throughout the year for events and to showcase all the disciplines of the arts.

ELIGIBLE MEDIUMS
All work should be of a fine art quality. Mediums can include: visual art, sculpture, stone, clay, metal, pottery, fibre, mixed media, wood, music CDs, books, fine art jewellery. We also accept cards and prints that are reproductions of original silkscreens, photography or fine art paintings.

NEW workshops and sessions are being planned for 2016!

We will be closed commencing December 23 at 5 pm and we will be open for business January 4, 2016.
