Wordsmiths is a diverse group that welcomes writers from all genres and experience levels. We have budding poets, emerging authors and published novelists, all united by a love for the written word. We support and inspire one another in an encouraging environment that allows creativity to flourish.

We share our writing with monthly themed writing challenges that push us to sharpen our skills, explore new ideas and try different techniques. Our regular meetings provide a space for sharing works in progress and celebrating one another's growth.

JULY PROMPTS:
Prompt 1) A forgotten photograph tucked away somewhere is the catalyst for an unexpected journey
Prompt 2) Write a story in the form of a script, complete with stage directions.

LOCATION: Wordsmiths now meet at the South Simcoe Arts Council, 41 Victoria St East on the 1st Tuesday of each month.
