Nearly Bedtime

I am a retired faculty member of York University's School of Art, Media, Performance and Design. I am currently enjoying adapting the creative process from musical performance to the practice of visual arts, embracing creative enthusiasm in whatever form it takes.

Inspiration for my painting is often found in observation of the ordinary, the small town, the daily activities and landscapes of rural life that exemplify EVERYDAY MAGIC. My offerings to Arts on Main this year are two watercolours that exemplify magical moments from my life. One captures my granddaughter at Lakeside in a Muskoka sunset. The other renders a much-loved Tottenham pathway that has shown me magic many, many times in all weathers and seasons.
