There is a story to be found in every nook and cranny around us, and I create art as a way to tell these stories. Art and storytelling are part of the human spirit, they connect us to one another across cultures and across centuries. The wonder in every day life is that it exists at all, and that long ago there were people like us who laughed and cried, worked and loved, and shared food with one another, and their animal companions. Every morning I wake up to feed my cats, and every day I'm warmed with the same love and connection felt by generations before me who woke up to do the same thing. That's the story, it's shared by people all over the world.
