Valerie Losell, after a career in teaching cut short by injury, now engages with the world as a poet and visual artist. Freed to live like a kid again, she delights in finding ways to manifest her joys and despairs through art and writing. One challenge has led to another and Valerie finds herself fully engaged in projects on an ever-widening horizon of artistic adventures.

Valerie exhibits her pastel, watercolour and mixed media work regularly through South Simcoe Arts Council venues and Barrie Art Club, takes commissions and sells greeting card and print versions of her work at several regional locations.
