Ginette Pelletier is a graduate from the Fine Arts Program, Nipissing University, North Bay (double major in Fine Art and Psychology), where she studied under Paul Kelly and Dennis Geden. She has also obtained a diploma in Arts and Craft, Ceramic Program, (Canadore College, North Bay) under the instruction of Keith Campbell and Jane Agnew. Pelletier has exhibited in North Simcoe and Toronto for the last eight years and had a collaborative exhibition at Double Door Gallery (Anten Mills) in October 2023, and is working toward another one at the same venue in fall 2024.
Ginette Pelletier has always been fascinated by advertising pages in magazines and now online: her work is heavily influenced by graphic design and illustration and she prefers to work in non natural colours. Ginette Pelletier works in painting, collage, printmaking and drawing.
Arts in Our Community is a South Simcoe Arts Council program that partners with community businesses to provide local artwork for our public spaces. All artwork shown in Arts in Our Community exhibits is by local artists who are members of the South Simcoe Arts Council.
