Lupins By the Sea Newfoundland

Lupins By the Sea Newfoundland is a stunning watercolour painting that beautifully captures the scenic beauty of Witless Bay, Newfoundland. The painting showcases a vibrant display of lupins, their colorful blooms standing tall on a hill, bathed in soft sunlight. In the background, the rolling ocean stretches out beneath a vast sky, its waves gently reflecting the light. The lupins, painted in rich purples and pinks, contrast beautifully with the calm, expansive seascape below, creating a harmonious balance between land and sea. The scene evokes a sense of tranquility and natural beauty, with the lupins symbolizing the resilience and vibrancy of the coastal landscape.

Framed in a sleek silver frame with glass, the artwork is elegantly presented, with the frame highlighting the cool, serene tones of the ocean and the lively hues of the flowers. This piece is a beautiful representation of Newfoundland's rugged coastline and the wild beauty of its flora, making it a perfect addition to any collection that celebrates nature's splendor.

Artist Bio

As a plein air artist for the past 35 years, I have travelled to France, Italy, Spain, eastern and western Canada to capture the beauty of the landscape. After studying under Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) artist Chin Kok Tan, I developed my method of painting with just a single brush and three colours. In 1991, I formed a company, "Artists...Let's Get-Away" and taught artists to paint in France and Italy locations. I have exhibited my art in group exhibitions at Todmorden Mills gallery in Toronto, and the surrounding area of Alliston and Hockley Valley. I have been living in the Hockley area for the past 25 years. My motto is, "Anyone can paint as long as you have the passion."

"Anyone can paint as long as you have the passion, believe in yourself!"
