My name is Rebecca Doyle. I am a scientist with a passion for watercolour. I am inspired by my local environment and often paint the plants and animals that I encounter around my workplace, the Scanlon Creek Conservation Area (Bradford, Ontario). I sell original watercolour paintings, giclee prints, and art/greeting cards. My creative process involves "glazing", or layering many thin layers of watercolour paint. I occasionally incorporate gouache into my paintings, depending on the subject.
