The garden battle

This is Lincoln's first time participating in an art exhibit. Inspired by the theme Small Wonder, he thought about how little things—like the toy army men he plays with in the grass—can feel big and important in someone else's world. While working on his piece, Lincoln discovered that drawing hands can be tricky, but using pencils helped him erase and try again. His favorite part of the process was simply having fun, and with his big imagination, he can go on amazing adventures without ever leaving his backyard.
